Pandu dies. Sathyavathi comes to meet Pandu but faints after seeing him dead. Madri kills herself as she thinks that she is cause of the death of her husband. Sathyavathi and Vidhuran asks Kunti and the Pandavas to accompany them to Hastinapuram. Sathyavathi decides to stay back in the forest.
