Arjunan sees himself standing in front of a replica of Dhronachariyar. Arjunan meets Ekalaivan who proclaims himself as a student of Dhronachariyar. Ekalaivan proves his skill by shooting a dog's mouth with three arrows. Arjunan is upset after seeing Ekalaivan's skill. Dhronachariyar asks for Ekalaivan's thumb as the fee for his teaching. Ekalaivan without thinking another thought chops off his thumb as a fee to Dhronachariyar. Dhronachariyar orders Ekalaivan to go away from Hastinapuram. Will Ekalaivan obey Dhronachariyars words?
