Dhritarashtran worries about the defeat of Kauravar. Gandhari tells that the crown belong to Yudhisthiran. Duryodhanan wants to wage a war against Yudhisthiran to claim the throne. Yudhisthiran vows to Duryodhanan that he will accept Dhritarashtran words regarding the future king. Drupadhan tells Shikandi is no use for him as she is female and is unable to fight the war. Duryodhanan asks Dhritarashtran to name him the crowning prince.
