அனைவரும் போரிற்கு தயாராகுக்கிறார்கள். பீஷ்மன் விதுரனிடம் வரவிருக்கும் போரில் தான் உயிரோடு இருக்க போவதில்லை என்று கூறுகிறார். கிருஷ்ணன் போரிற்கான தேதியை இரு தரப்பினருக்கும் அறிவிக்கிறார்.
