திரௌபதி துச்சாதனனின் இரத்தம் கொண்டு கூந்தலை கழுவாத வரை தான் தலை முடியை முடியப்போவதில்லை என்று கூறுகிறாள். காந்தாரி சகுனியிடம் பாண்டவர்களின் செயலை தடுக்கும்படி கூறுகிறாள். பாண்டவர்கள் வனவாசம் செல்லும் முன் கிருஷ்ணன் அவர்களுக்கு அறிவுரை வழங்குகிறார்.
