சதி தக்சன் நடத்தும் யாகத்திற்கு செல்ல நினைக்கிறார்!
விஜயா சதியை சந்தித்து சிவன் வரவில்லை என்றாலும் சதி யாகத்திற்கு வர வேண்டும் என்று கூறுகிறாள். சதியும் சம்மதித்து விடுகிறார். பிருஹு சதி மட்டும் யாகத்திற்கு வந்தால் விபரீதம் ஆகிவிடும் என்று வருந்துகிறார். சிவன் தன்னுடைய எண்ணத்தை புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை என்று சதி வருந்துகிறார். சதி தக்சனின் யாகத்திற்கு செல்ல சிவன் சம்மதிப்பாரா?
